CHAPTER SUMMARIES

There is suspense, action and adventure. There is the glamour of the jet-set lifestyle with mega yachts, corporate jets, mansions, exotic places, and beautiful women. The author also took careful pains to write the book so that female readers would find it very appealing. There is much romance and many powerful erotic scenes. The book, in the final analysis, is a character study of a good man gone bad and his eventual resurrection.

Prologue: Tow high-level CIA agents in charge of managing Paul Alexander get the shocking news that he had been arrested for drug smuggling in Miami.

1. Busted takes us through April to October, 1993 when Paul Alexander gets arrested by the DEA for major drug smuggling activities.We go through various court hearings culminating in Paul being sentenced to 22 years in prison.

2. The Twelve Fugitives shows a fascinating part of Paul Alexander's early days in custody. He ordered his lawyers to bring him the US Marshals Service list of its twelve most wanted international fugitives. Despite the fact that Paul was a prison inmate, he got all twelve captured around the world.

3.The Tall Russian-Looking Man introduces the author who was Paul Alexander's roomate in prison for almost a year.

4) The Space Station introduces Paul Alexander and the author to the readers.

5) License To Kill talks about Paul Alexander's Mossad job of doing assassinations.

6) Barao da Cocaina has Paul ALexander talking about his drug smuggling empire.

7) Cocada de Amendoim. In English, this means hot peanuts. This chapter tells about Paul's very early years and his first entrepreneurial forays that included selling ice cream on the beach during the summer and hot roasted peanuts door to door during the winter.

8.) Bate Coxa. In English, this means a kind of erotic dancing where couples dance very close and suggestively to Latin music. This chapters shows Paul Alexander's development into a young adolescent and his evolution into a skilled ballroom dancers. The chapter has a very powerful erotic scene that was his first sexual encounter with a Russian-Jewish older woman.

9) Claire. This chapter is very romantic. It recounts the meeting and courtship with the woman that became his first wife and companion of 17 years.

10) Leaving Home. This chapter recounts Paul Alexander's leaving home and his marriage to Claire at age 16.

11) Yom Kippur. This chapter is set during Yom Kippur of 1973 when Israel fought its heroic battle for survival against the Arab coalition and the old Soviet Union. It recounts a violent physical confrontation between Paul Alexander and his step-father, who is caught violently abusing his mother Mara.

12) The Institute. This chapter tells of Paul Alexander's leaving Brazil to join the Israeli Army and his induction into the Mossad intelligence agency.

 13) Sweden, Simone, And Jeanette The Assassin. This chapter tells of Paul Alexander's first overseas assignment with the Mossad in Sweden. It describes his first Mossad assassination, that of a woman terrorist in Holland.(Steven Spielberg recreated this incident in the movie Munich.) It also talks about the birth of his first daughter Simone.

14) Damascus And Alex. This chapter describes Paul Alexander's capture in Damascus, Syria during an operation and his rescue by Israeli commandos. It also talks about the birth of his first son Alex.

15) The Missing Years. Five years of Paul Alexander's life are unaccounted for. The author finally found out he was operating in Africa doing intelligence work for the Mossad and CIA and helping Ethiopian Jews get repatriated to Israel.

16) Red Clay Quagmire Nicaragua. This is where Paul Alexander meets Lt. Col. Oliver North and goes to Nicaragua to help the Contras in their fight against the Sandinistas. Here he gets involved with rogue CIA elements importing drugs into the USA.

17) The Little Polish Girl. This chapter tells about Paul Alexander's assignment to Brasil by the Mossad, when he took over a run-down talent agency as his Mossad cover. The discovery of the unlikely young woman who eventually became XUXA is outlined.

18) Pablo Escobar. This fascinating chapter tells of the time when Paul Alexander was infiltrated into the compound of the notorious late drug czar Pablo Escobar. He was sent there by President Ronald Reagan and Lt. Col. Oliver North to set up the assassination of Escobar by a CIA-financed "hit team."

19) Millionaire at 29. This often humorous chapter tells the story about how Paul Alexander made his first legal million by turning XUXA into a children's program star in Brasil.

 20) Miami. This chapter talks about Paul Alexander's arrival in Miami and his continued relationship with William Clay and CIA-sponsored drug dealing.

 21) Madonna South-XUXA. This chapter chronicles XUXA's evolution from a children's program star to a full-blown adult celebrity under the guidance of Paul Alexander.
